A man's due to be sentenced for a vicious late night attack on another man in Kendal.
Ben Simmonite admitted causing grievous bodily harm to the victim in the Newbiggin Close area of the town in September last year.
The 34-year old - of Fleece Inn Yard - has also pleaded guilty to being in possession of cannabis and will go before Carlisle Crown Court.
