Cumbria Police are urging parents to be aware of what their children get up to online over the summer holidays.
Thousands of youngsters will be spending more time on their phones, tablets and consoles over the next six weeks.
According to a survey of 2,000 parents with children aged 5 to 18, 91% of parents say their children play games online.
Lancashire Police issued a similar message on Tuesday.
