More schools are being invited to get involved in a new learning programme in Windermere.
"Esperance" is a collection of seven projects that make up an education programme run by the Windermere Jetty Museum.
Among the activities on offer, pupils from schools that sign up will be able to develop their boat building skills.
Chris Greenbank from Lakeland Arts, said: "Our aim is to engage with pupils of all ages and abilities in the run up to the opening of Windermere Jetty. We want schools to feel that they have been able to experience this exciting period in the development of this internationally important museum.
"Schools will have the chance to work with Lakeland Arts and our partners to create tangible outcomes for each of the seven projects, which will be visible at the Museum once open.
"We have contacted teachers from Cumbria and Lancashire and are accepting applications from interested schools now."
Each project will take place during 2016.
The closing date is Thursday the 22nd of October 2015 at 5pm.
