The Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team were called out to two separate incidents on Scafell Pike.
In the first incident, volunteers searched for a man who was long overdue from a walk at around 6pm on Friday evening.
The Duddon and Furness Mountain Rescue Team found him safe and well in Eskdale.
In the second incident, the Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team were called to a pair that had become cragfast whilst descending Scafell at around 4.30pm on Saturday.
The Police informed the volunteers that passing walkers had managed to get them down safely.
