A man's gone on trial accused of being involved in a drugs plot that was unearthed following the death of a Cumbrian teenager at Kendal Calling.
Michael Mountfort denies conspiring to supply class A drugs between April and August last year.
He was arrested at the music festival at Lowther Deer Park in July last year.
The investigation was prompted by the death of 18-year old Millom man, Christian Pay - who fell ill at the site.
At Carlisle Crown Court, 42-year old Mountfort - from Manchester - accepted he knew people he was with were planning to deal illegal subtances but he categorically denies involvement in the enterprise.
The trial continues.
