The National Trust raised £560 for its Lakes Flood Appeal at the Keswick Mountain Festival last month.
People who bought tickets agreed to make a £1 donation when making the purchase.
The money will go towards a project to repair the Lake District's beauty spots more than six months on from Storm Desmond.
Jessie Binns, Visitor Experience and Engagement Manager for the National Trust in the North Lakes, said: “People out and about in Keswick last month could clearly see some of the damage caused by last December’s floods for themselves and felt strongly about helping us to put it right. We are so very grateful for their support.
“Most people who come to Keswick will either walk around the lake or climb Cat Bells and we’re looking at a minimum of £30,000 to cover damage to both of those key landmarks. It’s going to be a long process to get our much-loved landscape in a position where we’re confident it will be protected and strengthened against the risk of future storms, and the support of the public is key to helping us achieve this.”
