Police say they're becoming increasingly concerned for a 45-year-old woman who is missing from the South Lakes.
Amanda Whitehead was last seen at around 6.30 this morning, at her home address in the Crosthwaite area.
Police say it's out of character, and are urging anyone with information to get in touch.
She is described as a white female, of medium build, 5ft 5" tall, with dark brown curly shoulder length hair. She is believed to have been wearing jeans, a jumper and grey coloured suede ankle boots.
Police are also urging Amanda - if she sees this appeal, to let Police or family know she is safe and well.
