A man's been rescued after collapsing and falling unconscious in The Lake District.
The Langdale and Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team were alerted just after midday yesterday (May 10th), after the man collapsed near the summit of Red Screes.
12 team members, along with an air ambulance went to help him.
The man was treated, but due to strong winds, the air ambulance was unable to lift with him on board, so a Coastguard S92 evacuated him to hospital.
