Two Lake District Mountain Rescue teams were involved in three call-outs in a row this weekend.
The Patterdale & Penrith teams were called out to help a 13 year old boy who'd fallen and suffered a head injury while walking with a group on Oxford Crag.
That rescue immediately followed the rescue of a 36 year old Manchester man who'd been immobilised with severe cramp on Caudale Moor - and a woman who'd been hit on the head by a cricket ball near the Patterdale team base.
