Two women have needed rescuing after hurting their ankles in separate incidents in the Lake District this week.
Yesterday, the Langdale and Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team helped an elderly woman who'd broken her ankle on Orrest Head near Windermere.
Meanwhile on Tuesday, the Wasdale MRT was called out after another woman injured her ankle around Eskdale - she was airlifted to hospital.
