Police will be at Devil's Bridge in Kirkby Lonsdale today (Easter Sunday), raising awareness of motorbike safety.
Officers from Lancashire's Road Policing Unit will be at the popular spot for bikers, raising awareness of the 'BikeSafe' scheme.
They will also be at Dick Turpin’s on the A59, and Bull Beck on the A683 near Caton.
25% of those killed or seriously injured on the roads involve motorcycle accidents - with 500cc bikes being involved in the vast majority of those incidents.
Inspector Andy Trotter from the Force Road Policing Unit said: “Easter marks the start of the biking season. By engaging with bikers early on, we hope to educate riders on hazard awareness and rider errors that contribute towards accidents, which include wrong positioning around bends or at junctions and poorly planned overtaking.”
