The North West Ambulance Service is taking its #Team999 campaign to Keswick today.
The service launched the initiative to teach local people that dialing 999 will not necessarily result in an ambulance response or a trip to hospital - and that there are various care options available.
Later today, staff will be on Main Street between 10.30am and 3pm.
A range of interactive activities will be taking place throughout the day, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) demonstrations, as well as the opportunity for the public to explore an emergency vehicle and put questions directly to #Team999.
In recent months, the campaign’s focus has been on how #Team999 operates in Cumbria to help make people aware of how NWAS has developed to meet the needs of its rural communities.
