The Lake District's Sharrow Bay hotel has created the world's most expensive marmalade.
The country retreat will auction off the luxury preserve - which costs £100 per slice - in aid of Cumbria's flood victims.
It's made with the finest Seville oranges and laced with a 1967 Amagnac and gold leaf flakes.
Sharrow Bay’s Managing Director Oliver Smith said: “Cumbria has really struggled with the flooding this winter and it’s our hope auctioning the World’s most expensive marmalade will raise lots of money to help get local communities back on their feet and ready to welcome visitors. A sweet end to a very bittersweet winter.”
