A national charity has set up shop in Kendal, to help local businesses apply for free flood resilience grants.
The Business Emergency Resilience Group - which is part of the charity 'Business in the Community', has set up a one-stop shop at ASDA to help local residents and businesses apply for the £5000 Property Level Resilience grants.
Those affected by flooding in December can visit the centre Monday to Saturday from 8.30am until 6pm, and between 10am and 4pm on Sundays.

An initiative of His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, Duke of Rothesay, the Business Emergency Resilience Group (BERG) helps businesses and communities across the UK to prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies such as flooding, cyber-attacks and civil unrest.
