A German tourist has been rescued by the Keswick Mountain Rescue team after falling 300 feet down a bracken-covered steep slope.
It happened just before 2pm yesterday at Blencathra.
The 70 year old was found with serious shoulder injuries at Mousthwaite Combe.
She was flown off the fell for hospital treatment.
