The Kendal Mountain Rescue Team were called in by Cumbria Police to help a lady who had slipped at Hampsfield.
A lady had slipped near Hampsfield farm and was unable to weight bear on her ankle at 11:50am on the 16th of January.
The team located the woman and her walking group, treated her for a suspected broken ankle and stretchered her to Mobile 4 then onto an awaiting land ambulance.
At the same time, the Kendal team was also called to another incident.
However, it was established that this was on Duddon & Furness MRT patch so they transferred the incident to them.
