Torrential rain caused surface water flooding across North Lancashire and South Cumbria last night.

The Met Office say there's more wet weather on the way in the coming days too.

It has a yellow weather warning for rain in place for Tuesday.

Forecasters say there's a "very low likelihood" of localised flooding as a result.

The Environment Agency said yesterday that it doesn't expect to be putting out flood warnings on any rivers soon as water levels have been returning to normal.

However, it still has a number of lower level flood alerts - meaning be prepared - in place for parts of the Kent and Bela; Brathay, Rothay and Winster; and Duddon, Crake and Mill Beck.
