A mental health charity's offering people a chance to reflect on the recent flooding in Kendal today.
South Lakeland Mind has arranged a silent carol service at the Quaker Meeting House on Stramongate between 11am and 1pm.
People can come and go as they please for hot drinks, cake and friendly faces.
The charity is also reminding people about the support and counselling services it can offer to people struggling emotionally in the run-up to Christmas.
