Kendal Town Chairman Haydon Munslow has resigned.
The club posted a statement on it's Facebook page earlier today.
Mr. Munslow's been with the Mintcakes for six years.
The departure comes after the club moved to its late season budget, which resulted in several players leaving.
George Gudgeon, Acting Chairman, said: "It is with sincere regret that Kendal Town FC have to announce that Haydon Munslow has resigned as Chairman of our club.
"Haydon has been with the club for six years and has been an inspiration to myself. He’s been the main driving force with Gary Fawcett and me in progressing our community based youth system.
"I would like to think when people remember the role Haydon has played as Chairman in developing the club it hasn’t just been about a Men’s first team, but also a Ladies team and a full youth system. Making the club into a central hub of the community.
"I’m sure that everyone associated with the club as players, coaches and fans will join the Management Committee and me in thanking Haydon for all his time, commitment and dedication during his period as Chairman."
