Police are investigating a public order offence, after a road accident near Ambleside.
It happened at 1.30 yesterday afternoon, when two vehicles were involved in a minor accident.
Officers are appealing for information after the two drivers - of a black Ford Focus and a silver BMW van had an altercation on the A591 near Rydal Hall.
