Residents in Kendal are being warned of cold callers offering to carry out tarmacing services.
Cumbria's Trading Standards team say traders are going door-to-door offering to tarmac driveways and potholes.
They're advising local people to say "no" to any cold callers as they often use aggressive selling tactics and carry out poor quality work.
