People are being invited to comment on the future of housing and businesses in the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty from today.

The consultation, which ends on the 18th of December, is to get views on a joint-plan by South Lakeland and Lancaster City councils.

It's to identify sites for new housing and employment, without causing a negative impact on the area.

“Please get involved: don't leave it to others as they might not want the growth that you want to see.  I'll be making my views known, so join me and together we will keep our Area of Natural Beauty special."
