Donations are needed to save a Grade 1 listed historic farmhouse at Townend.
The National Trust is in charge of preserving the site near Troutbeck Bridge.
It's 400 years old and wet rot has now been found in the beams holding it up.
The building has shut so its contents can be stored and protected.
The repair job will cost an estimated £100,000.
So far, £5,000 has been raised - you can find out how to support the restoration by clicking here.
