The first public Windermere Boat Show is due to take place next month, after its inaugural 'private' launch show last year.
The free event, from July 1 to 3, takes place at the new Ferry Nab Marina.
There will be water and shore-based displays of new and used boats alongside marine suppliers and boat clubs from around Windermere.
The boat show will be the largest in the North, showcasing boats up to 40ft long.
Windermere Marina and Windermere Quays will be getting involved by displaying more than 150 boats, new and old.
Jason Dearden, managing director of Shepherds Marine and Windermere Marina Village, said: “I am absolutely delighted that for the first time Windermere’s boating community will be brought together in one location in what promises to be a great weekend.
“This is an opportunity for anyone to come and experience Windermere and chat to boat brokers and adventure providers about everything from kayaks to 40ft motor cruisers.”
