Two Lake District mountain rescue teams were called out yesterday, after a woman fell and injured herself.
The Patterdale and Penrith teams went to her aid at Boredale Hause, after she fell and hurt her ankle.
The lady, who was from North Wales, was given pain relief and then stretchered down the mountain.
The rescue lasted two hours, with the Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team wishing her a 'speedy recovery'.
