The Met Office has extended a Yellow weather warning for rain across Cumbria and North Lancashire.
After warnings on both Saturday and Sunday, there is another in force until 9pm today (Monday).
Scattered heavy thundery showers are expected to develop, and will once again lead to slow-moving downpours.
15-20 mm could fall within an hour in scattered locations.
However, some parts will inevitably miss most, or all, of the heavier rain.
Local people are again urged to be aware of possible localised flooding and disruption to travel.
The latest updates are available on the Met Office website.
