Local ladies are being urged to join the 10th Anniversary “Walk To Remember” for St Mary's Hospice which sets off from Ulverston tomorrow evening.
As it's the the final one for a while, the hospice is urging as many local people as possible to sign up and raise money for a good cause.
It'll kick off from St Mary’s Hospice in Ulverston at 8pm on Friday the 10th of June, with local woman completing the 10 mile route to end up at the Furness Academy.
Zoe Guest is head of fundraising and marketing at St Mary's Hospice, and said ladies can register on the night.
"We're happy to accept registrations on the night - the more the merrier!
"People can either get in touch with us up to that point or they can register on the night, as long as they bring their registration fee.
"Some people bring their dogs, some people come with their friends, and some people come year on year.
"This is our 10th anniversary this time so either come along by yourself and make some new friends or bring your friends with you."
"They can bring some spending money with them too as we'll have lots of sparkly merchandise to purchase which adds to the occasion.
"We've got a face painter and a warm up so there's lots of nice activities they can do before they set off."
