A man has died after being attacked by a dog in Cumbria.
Police were called to a property on Robert Owen Avenue, Cleator Moor, at 2pm yesterday, after reports of a man being attacked by a dog.
A 45-year-old man – who lived at the property - was pronounced dead at the scene.
The dog who attacked the male was destroyed.
Meanwhile, three other dogs were seized from the property and will be assessed by a specialised police officer.
The death is being treated as non-suspicious and the Coroner has been informed.
