The Morecambe Bay NHS Trust is marking National Dementia Awareness Week.
Stalls will be set up at Westmorland General; Furness General; and the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
Staff from the health service and voluntary groups will be on hand to advise people about the condition and what help's available.
One-in-three people over the age of 65 will get dementia - it's thought 21million people know a friend of relative who's affected.
Dianne Smith, Matron for Dementia said; “Here at UHMBT, we strive to give person centred dementia care tailored to the individual needs of our patients. It is also very important to us to involve families and others in the planning and decision making process so we can provide the best possible care to their loved one.
“National Dementia Awareness Week is a great chance for us to talk to staff and the public about dementia itself and what services and support we offer as a Trust. With support from our colleagues in the voluntary sector, we also aim to provide a wide variety of information about the support available for those people diagnosed with dementia and their close friends and family.
“We look forward to welcoming as many people as possible to the events.”
