A comedy night's being held in Kendal this month, to raise money for this year's Torchlight Carnival.
It's being held on Sunday the 14th of May at 7pm at Kendal Town Hall.
Tickets are £12 and are available from The Brewery Arts Centre.
It's being hosted by Yakkers from Lakeland Radio Breakfast, and will feature comedians Mike Wilkinson, Philip Simon and Rob Rouse.
The carnival itself - on Friday the 9th of September, will carry the theme "Celebrating Kendal's Spirit", to highlight the strength of the local community, following the difficulties caused by December's storms.
Last year, more than 27,000 people lined the streets.
A committee spokesperson said: "The Torchlight Carnival is a wonderful tradition in Kendal, and a great opportunity to celebrate together and build an even stronger local community.
"We encourage you to be imaginative, get creative and think about what you love about Kendal and what our town means to you, but most importantly, have fun!
"So for 2016 we want to celebrate this and hope that as many people as possible join in with the Carnival, whether as entrants or joining the crowds supporting them on the night."
