Two Kendal men have admitted handling bottles of vodka and food stolen from a Polish grocery shop in the town.
30year-old Jonathan Calvert and 22-year-old Michael Crosson appeared at Carlisle Crown Court on separate days this week.
They each pleaded guilty to a charge of dishonestly receiving property taken from New Shambles store Kabanos, which they knew or believed was stolen.
This shop was broken into during July last year when hundreds of pounds worth of goods were taken.
The court heard there was no evidence to link Calvert or Crosson to the burglary, but police who visited a flat in Kendal found the two men were present, along with a small amount of the stolen loot.
Calvert, of Camms Yard, was sentenced on Thursday, and received a five-week prison sentence.
Meanwhile, Crosson, of Collin Close, will be given his punishment at a later date.
