Cumbria Police are warning people in the Lake District to be aware of two men in the area.
They are described as Asian, with a large amount of cash, asking for it to be changed and paying a lot of attention to tills.
Windermere Police say they are trying to ring the change and were last seen in the Newby Bridge area.
Anyone who has noticed suspicious behaviour is asked yo contact local Police.
