A midwife's been cleared of any wrongdoing in relation to the most high-profile death during the Furness General Hospital maternity scandal.
Gretta Dixon is free to return to work following a Nursing and Midwifery Council hearing into the circumstances of the death of 9-day old Joshua Titcombe in 2008.
It was alleged Miss Dixon had failed to refer his mum Hoa for medical assessment the day before his birth after she'd complained about feeling unwell - the NMC said witness accounts were inconsistent and the allegation couldn't be proved.
