E.ON is inviting local charities and community groups to apply for £2000 of funding through its Energy Action Fund.
To be eligible for funding, applicants are asked to put forward requests to support activities that will help bring a reduction in energy use, or provide energy efficiency advice for local people.
The deadline for the applications will end today (Friday), and the maximum amount awarded to any one group is £2,000 which may cover the full cost of energy-related improvements and activities.
Suzanna Doxey, Community Relations Manager at E.ON said: "I'm really pleased to be announcing a fresh round of out Energy Action Fund.
"Of course we can't fund every application, but when we come across a really deserving project which has been thoroughly researched and planned, and just lacks the money to proceed , it's great to be able to help with the E.ON Action Fund."
E.ON Energy Action Fund has already distributed more than £75,000 to more than 40 community groups nationwide.
