Toploader is a band no stranger to Cumbria, having played in Kendal in recent years - and they're back in the Lake District this May & June for two major events.

The band is back in the Lake District this summer, to play at 'Rock On Windermere' in Bowness.

A weekend of live music is being held on The Glebe in June - organised by the Windermere Rotary Club, with The Bay & Lakeland Radio.

Money raised will go towards the Cumbria Flood Appeal.

On Friday the 17th, Gordon Hendricks as Elvis will perform, along with Platinum Abba Tribute show.

Toploader will play the next night - Saturday the 18th, supporting Status Quo.

Tickets for Rock On Windermere are on sale here, and the band's full tour dates are here.

Toploader will also play at the Keswick Mountain Festival, which is back between the 19th and the 22nd of May.

More information about the festival is here.

The band formed in 1997, with more than two million album sales to their name and a string of top 20 hits both home and abroad.

They're most recognised for their cover of King Harvest's US hit "Dancing in the Moonlight", but as the special feature proves (listen below), there's more to Toploader than that track...

Click below to familiarise yourself with some of the band's other gems, in a special 25 minute interview feature with frontman Joe Washbourn, speaking to Peter Storry:
