It was a busy weekend for the Langdale and Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team.
On Sunday alone, they were involved in three separate rescues.
The first was at Millerground in Windermere, where a a woman had fractured her tibia and fibula after slipping.
That happened just before midday.
Then, at quarter past five, another woman sustained a lower leg injury when she tripped on Gibson Knott in Grasmere while fellwalking.
The mountain rescue team located her and helped her to an air ambulance.
And then soon after that incident, the team were again called to help a woman who had injured herself on Nab Scar.
They found her on Heron Crag and assisted with getting her an air ambulance as well.
