A project in the Lake District, Fix the Fells, has been shortlisted for an international award, and now needs your votes to win.
The project will reduce erosion and protect vulnerable vegetation by repairing the footpaths on the iconic Coniston Old Man and will be a great boost to Cumbria after the floods of December 2015.
As many local people as possible are being urged to vote, with the winner to be chosen by the public by midday on Tuesday 22nd March.
If Fix the Fells wins, the project will get £22,000 from the European Outdoor Conservation Association for footpath repair on Coniston Old Man.
Naurtue Lakeland Projects Manager Sarah Dale said "It takes just 2 minutes and if we win, it will make a huge difference to the Lake District and Cumbria."
Simply click here and vote for ‘Caring for Coniston Old Man’ which is the first project on the list.
Voting ends at midday on Tuesday 22nd March.
