A series of meetings are being planned across the Lake District, to better prepare local towns and villages for future flooding emergencies.
The Environment Agency says drop-in sessions are being planned for Kendal, Burneside, Ambleside, Grasmere, Braithwaite, Pooley Bridge, Glenridding, Patterdale, and several more areas.
Dates will be confirmed in the near future, where residents will be asked to talk about their experiences to help identify the extent and cause of flooding - and to help improve recovery work.
It’s also an opportunity to get more information about funding and support.
