Police have identified the man who died following a road traffic collision at Selside near Kendal last night as 23 year old Jack Davis Dulson from Penrith.

Mr Dulson died following a one vehicle road traffic collision at 8.08pm yesterday (11th December).

His family said: "On the 11th December we lost one of the good ones and heaven gained an angel. Jack was a genuine, caring, kind hearted, hilarious man who devoted his life to the needs of others. An admirable son to Nichola, Peter and Maureen, a protective big brother to Jasmin and Bradley, a best friend to his brother Martin and dad Peter and an honourable grandson, nephew and cousin. Jack was a devoted partner to Helen and a first class 'Jaddy' to Keaton. He will be sorely missed by many.

“An avid fan of any sport going especially football, cricket, rugby and american football. He was a committed Chelsea fan which often caused friendly rivalry between him and his Liverpool-supporting dad. Recently Jack enjoyed a fantastic season playing football for Carleton Brent with his lifelong friends. When he wasn’t spending time with his friends and family, Jack was busy working at Enterprise where he quickly worked his way up the ladder and incredibly became a branch manager only one year into his graduate scheme which he also completed early. Jack was a huge success at life, work and with his loved ones - simply the best.”

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the accident or seen the vehicle traveling north on the A6 before the collision. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 and ask to speak to PC 1567 Kevin Jackson.
